Environmental Policy
Starbuck James acknowledges the importance of a responsible corporate attitude towards environmental issues. We are committed to the protection of the environment. Our actions will be conducted in a manner that both protects the environment and conserves valuable materials and resources.
Our environmental policy governs all our business practices and is manifested in the following actions:
| • | Recycling all appropriate waste items e.g. paper, newspapers, cans
|
| • | Using recycled products wherever possible e.g. paper, toner cartridges
|
| • | Using electronic communications and document storage wherever possible
|
| • | Monitoring and controlling paper usage across all aspects of operations
|
| • | Using low voltage lighting wherever possible
|
| • | All electrical equipment switched off when not in use
|
| • | Energy saving/efficient devices implemented wherever appropriate e.g. water heaters, central heating systems
|
| • | Public transport used for business travel wherever possible
|
| • | Performance is frequently reviewed to identify areas for further improvement. |
