 | Multimap.com | | Increase your chances of getting there on time. Look up the address in relation to the nearest tube station / airport etc. |
 | Upmystreet | | Whilst encouraging you to take the job, the company said that a benefit was the wide range of schools, and the abundance of nightlife for your teenagers. Find out what Orkney is really like! Discover local services and shops, examine property prices, nearby schools, childcare, search classified advertisements, entertainment listings and much more. |
 | Institute of Directors | | As a worldwide association of members, the Institute of Directors (IoD) provides a network that reaches into every corner of the business community. |
 | FT.com | | Probably the most authoritative business web site, certainly in the UK. FT.com is the internet partner of the Financial Times newspaper, combining the values and authority of the Financial Times newspaper with the immediacy and interactivity of the internet. |
 | Bloomberg.com | | Bloomberg has similar content to FT.com, however, we find it is particularly useful when studying US based or owned companies, or US related matters. |
 | XE.com | | You are currently earning £110,000. There’s an interesting job in Tokyo with a package of 25m yen… is it worth applying? Extremely simple currency conversion tool. |
 | Statistics.gov.uk | | The website of the Office of National Statistics. An absolutely fascinating site containing information such as average earnings, retail prices and other interesting yet less useful information… did you know that 86 boys and 19 girls were named Brooklyn last year, but only 21 babies were named Romeo. |
 | AskOxford.com | | Run by Oxford University Press, a department of the University of Oxford, this site provides useful information on how to write, spell, construct a report etc. If you are unsure as to the difference between who and whom, or a semi-colon and colon, try “better writing”! |
 | Acronym Server | | This is a slightly obscure website set up by University College, Cork, that defines the meaning of acronyms. It is possibly the most unattractive site you will encounter, however, if you are looking for the meaning of EBITDA, you will quickly discover that it is Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation. |
 | Weather Channel | | Excellent website that may be useful whether you are considering relocation, or simply arranging a holiday. In addition to a 10 day forecast, the site also provides monthly statistics for most parts of the world. |
